The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church, Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso, has taken a strong swipe at certain self-acclaimed ‘men of God in the country.
According to him, these pastors are greedy, blaming them for playing a role in the collapsed of the country and lagging behind in terms of development.
“If we want to change, there should be generational thinkers. Ghana has become a collapsed nation because of greedy people who are so much interested in themselves even including pastors.
“They proclaim false prophecy, lie to people, cheat and use all means to get people’s money to feed their stomachs and survive. All these are contributing factors to our underdevelopment and suffering,” Professor Paul Frimpong Manso said in an interview with Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.
Professor Paul Frimpong Manso’s comment came after Archbishop Duncan Williams, the General Overseer of Action Chapel International Ministry announced last Sunday at his church that Ghana is in crisis hence Ghanaians must fast to safe the country.
“We as a nation are facing a crisis, with lots of difficulties and hardships and in these times we must proclaim a fast,” Archbishop Duncan Williams said.
