Kennedy Agyapong names groups impeding Ghana’s progress

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has outlined the groups of people impeding Ghana’s progress per his estimation.

In a pour out of what appears to be his frustration on Ghana’s lack of forward-match, the legislator said the attitudes of politicians, clergy, journalists and chiefs towards work and corruption is hindering the progress in the country.

“There are four institutions that are hindering the progress in Ghana – Politicians, clergy, journalists and chiefs,” he said.

Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show Badwam Tuesday, the MP the people who arrogate the position of pastor, politician and others to themselves are only in to take advantage of the ignorance of their followers for their personal interest to create wealth for themselves.

Kennedy Agyapong’s comment comes on the back of the General Overseer of Action Chapel International Ministry, Archbishop Duncan William’s request for his church to embark on prayer and fasting for Ghana to avert the economic hardships being experienced by the people.

Mr Agyapong believes Ghana has been subjected to such mismanagement that only a modicum of sanity is left, something he believes has stunted the country’s progress.

As individuals, Mr Agyapong urged Ghanaians to study the Bible on their own in order not to be deceived and misled by any fake pastors.
